This morning I was waiting for my Number 266 so I could get to work. The bus was pretty full as I was getting on, an not many people were getting off. I would say there was about 12 people in front of me. As I got on the bus, the bus conductor (who was black) said to me, 'You know what? This bus is full.'

Fair enough I thought, it was really crowded. But then, just as the bus doors were about to close, a young black lad jumped onto the bus, said 'Oh Come on bruv' to the conductor, slapped his hand and was allowed to ride the bus.

Have I been the victim of racism? Or am I being silly?
