I don't think it's too early to ask this, as I'd guess most people have at least started thinking about shopping for presents. And the main event is exactly a month away.

So, would you agree that your dad/stepdad/father figure/mum's boyfriend/whatever is generally a tricksy beast to buy for? Or is the whole socks 'n' ties routine just the stuff of bad observational comedy and unimaginative giftgivers?
