Assuming it meant no physical involvement but also that you wouldn't be a part of that child's life, would you be a sperm donor or a baby carrier for a gay or lesbian (really close) friend?

It came up in conversation tonight and left me wondering how often this happens/how hard it is for the potentially childless to achieve.
