my employer hasn't received a copy of my tax details from them yet and i have had my copy for over a week now. So i phoned HMRC and they said they would send another one out, but time is running out and if my employer doesn't get it by friday then it wont have any effect for this months pay, so the man at the tax office said if i want him to fax a copy over then my employer will have to ring them, but surely they can't start talking about me without my expressed permission?? as all they do when they answer the phone is ask for your details/NI number straight away and my employer is based miles away so wont be able to just have me there with them....anyone know how this would work out?? oh and im not allowed to give the tax office a fax number for them to fax it to, fucking joke
