staying in vs. going out

m-dizzle [Edit] [Delete] 09:25, 9 December '08

i dunno man. lately i've been going out as often as humanly possible, mainly because the job i'm at leaves my evenings free, because i can now afford to go out pretty much whenever i want, and because i feel fairly uninspired by the working life and so always need something to balance it out. and yes, i'm having a great time.

BUT. maybe this is just from being in a band's point-of-view of being let down by people not willing to come to my gigs, i've just become very disheartened/blown away by people who just don't ever seem to want to leave the house...

is it that good? really? i know there's something a bit comforting about staying in and doing absolutely nothing, but if i do it for more than one day i start to go insane...

people who just say 'no' automatically (take facebook events for example, where there's normally 9000 'not attending' to every 1 that's 'attending') just don't seem as happy as people who go out and do things.

i dunno, maybe i'm just tired and need to stop drinking tea, but this is what i'm thinking about right now.

thanks, i'm here til tuesday.
