not sure if the thread title makes sense, i just didnt want it to be a 4 liner. basically, what was the most depressing game you have ever watched, or the most depressed you have felt after a football match, for whatever reason?

for me, i think it would have to be watching arsenal lose the champions league final. favourite ever goalie sent off, robert "the goal" pires then having to be subbed, thinking the whole game henry was playing against the club he would be going to the next season and then obviously losing.

its either that, or standing in a puddle in the january rain to watch portsmouth annihilate barnet 0-5 in the FA cup 3rd round.

the only game i've ever cried over was when england got knocked out of italia 90.

oh, and i thought i'd mention the guy in the toilets after england lost to brazil in japan 02, "RIGHT, who wants to fight?"
