I have my officer selection in January and they just sent me a load of stuff in the post. They can't find a train that will get me there on the day so they have given me the allowance of £80 for a hotel room and £24.52 for an evening meal with any drink...quite cool...but for the two days im on the selection i have to watch presentations, do individual aptitude tests, give a 2 minute talk about myself to the group, have a discussion about current affairs, a planning exercise (complex analytical problem), individual interviews, multi stage fitness test, 2 practical command tasks, individual obstacle course....crazy days!
