ive just read norweigan wood and after dark in succession and, aside from a couple nice moments in each, both left me pretty underwhelmed and im not too keen on his style...

i know two books isn't really enough to make a fully informed judgement on him as a writer,...but they didn't really leave me wanting more.

so....if you're a fan, what is it about his writing you like?
