my dad's just rung to find out what I thought of the concert I was supposed to meet him at after work this evening because he didn't see me in the hall ... but i'd completely forgotten it was on. shit.
he'd paid for the tickets and given me mine so that i could run straight over from work because i couldn't get the time of.

and my newcastle team are having terrible times on FM09 at the moment so i can't even escape to that fantasy land to cheer myself up (9 players out injured for between 2 and 3 months each include 6 forwards/strikers)
