Have you ever had that experience where you say something to someone and they go 'pfff. Stop being sarcastic' and you say 'no. I wasn't being sarcastic. I was being totally genuine'.

And then you realise that you've been sarcastic for so long that it has become your default setting and even you can't always tell whether you mean what you say or not.

Well I have now reached the point where even the opinions I espouse on this very social board I can't honestly tell if I'm being genuine or not. This entire thread may in fact be entirely insincere. I can't tell.
