Hate your neighbour? Fancy having their car for £150?

dove_from_above [Edit] [Delete] 10:55, 7 January '09

I lost my car key at the weekend. I was drunk and fell over, and woke up the next day with no car key in my coat pocket. Woe is me. I had no spare, and Ford couldn't sort me out a new one as I didn't have the 'key number'. So I did a bit of Googling and found some locksmith company that come to you, get in your car and make you a new key on the spot for £150

So the guy came yesterday morning, and was really quite pleasant. The process took him about half hour, and we had a nice chat outside in the snow. At no point in me originally ringing up, or the guy turning up to produce the key did anybody ask me for any form of identification, driver's license, registration certificate etc. He just turned up at the address I gave him (which wasn't my home address, incidentally), I pointed to the car and he got to work. Half an hour later, I drive away, no questions asked

So next time your neighbour goes on holiday, or if there's somebody nearby who you hate, why not steal their car? It's dead easy, trust me
