I don't like Tom Hanks and since Forrest Gump I don't like Zemeckis but it was late and I was bored and I flicked it on.

What confused me most about this film was I seem to remember it being MASSIVELY popular. Why?

It's incredibly slow and boring. The bit on the island is stupidly underdeveloped and then he comes home and they give up trying to give the film a decent ending of any sort. Frankly this film was a complete piece of shit.

I don't like Forrest Gump but I can at least see why people would like it. This was just awful.
