I'm thinking of picking this up in the week on recommendation from a mate. Only thing is that he totally bums all the CoD games.

Anyone shed any light on if it's worth my hard earned. What's Campaign like? Multiplayer any good?

If not that, what else should I consider. I mostly like to shoot things and haven't bought a game since Gears 2.
