it's always been minumum wage, short term stuff before....nothing before in terms of possible career stuff

im thinking i might need something extra for the big boys.

so far i've got...personal details....education...qualifications....past job/work exp. details...an interests and hobbies bit and then the two referees/references type things.

all seems a bit basic though.

do i need to do a covering letter?....what needs to go on one of these?

how many past jobs do you usually put on?

aside to the cv, there is a part when applying for the job online where i put on loads of personal details...which will sort of cover a covering letter and personal interests i think.....do i still need both?

any help for this idiot is much appreciated
