I'd been drinking and went for a piss. I thought she'd appreciate a muffled two o clock in the morning call from me. The best sort of call really, where she can only hear background noise and me shouting indecipherable shit before hanging up.

Anyway, unbeknownst to me I rang her home number, not her mobile. there was no answer. So I tried again, this time after quite a lot of rings her dad answered sounding pretty gruff and angry - I didn't even fucking realise this - i was just thinking, who the hell's this dude answering my girlfriends phone? am I being cheated on? like in soaps? this won't do!

Anyway, I ended up shouting witless, garbled insults down the phone, trying to assert some vague sense of masculinity whilst internally falling apart - to her fucking dad. Jesus christ i'm a cunt
