I'm watching Dazed And Confused and its reminded me of sprog bashing day at school, which was basically a day when the first years got the shit kicked out of them. I'd thought that it was all hype, but me and a friend got dragged into an empty classroom, and I got kicked VERY hard in the balls then covered in chalk dust. One lad had his head flushed down the toilet for like 10 minutes. The teachers never did anything about it other that hold a 'special' year meeting every year saying that anyone caught doing anything would be 'severely dealt with'. It died down a bit after a kid had his jaw broken about a year before I left. Horrible times...
