It always upsets me to read about old married couples where one obviously dies of a broken heart after being widowed, but seriously - wtf?

Mother is in hospital having a heart operation and family tell her when she comes round that husband has died of a heart attack. They'd been married for 55 years. Surely instant death is pretty fucking obvious in this case?

I feel bad for the Kemps but the stupidity of telling her such a thing when she's in an extremely vulnerable health position anyway really is quite gobsmacking :(
