I watched most of Bridget Jones 2 last night due to a combination of laziness and...yeah. Anyway, let's move on from that. I've admitted it in public so the healing can begin.

What struck me was she was apparently middle-class or upper middle-class in the film but I read some of my mum's copy of the original book (while taking dumps, if you must know) and I remember the character being quite working class.

Makes me wonder if middle class people are easier to sell on cinema than working class types. Does anyone care? No.
