like when you're on the phone with them and they hang up and they say LOVE YOU and i don't know about you, but i always get too flustered to say anything other than 'yeah bye' even when it's my best friend or someone who i know are likely to do it. there are even people who sign off texts with exclamations of love and i've fucking had enough of it, the x's are quite enough and as we all know they alone can be a massive source of confusion/annoyance. PLEASE STOP DOING THIS if you're one of those people. i know it's meant to be nice but some of us will never learn how to handle these situations and it's extremely inconsiderate.
