Is this normal? (plumbercentric)

chiaroscuro [Edit] [Delete] 23:33, 2 February '09

OK, so my landlord's brother came round with this plumber at 3 this afternoon to flush out our heating system. OK, good, fine.

However, they're STILL HERE. In the kitchen, with tools all over the place and some weird machine with tubes stretching up and down the stairs, using my kitchen implements to catch sludgy boiler water from sundry dripping pipes, eating fried chicken, half-watching The Fast and the Furious and merrily tinkering away as if its normal to still be working in somebody's house at half eleven on a Monday night.

This is not normal right? Right? Its not like I want them to leave without finishing the job, but at the same time I'm quite keen that they just Stop Being In My House Now.

I don't know what to do. The best idea I've had is going in there, shaking my head solemnly and murmuring quietly but firmly, like a wife to her adulterous husband, "I think it's best you left now, don't you?" Anyone?
