So, I would like to do a placement this August. I currently live in london, but my current employment finishes in July. From this, I will have around £1800 to play with.

I looked for placements in manchester (to save money etc.) but none looked to good. I broadened my search, and found an absolute cracker for three weeks in london, unpaid. My question being, should I apply for this placement...

- and get it, stay in london for another month and incur the costs that come with it?
- forget about it, stay in manchester and work in a bar or something?
