I'm getting increasingly fucked off by the reaction to Professor Nutt's ecstasy comments...

The guy is a scientist. It is both his job and his moral responsibility to accurately report his findings without political bias.

It is utterly unreasonable for David Rayner or the Home Secretary to get fucked off when his findings contradict what they want to believe.

I'd like to stress, simply to eliminate bias, I've never taken ecstasy and have no plans to do so. But I do feel incredibly angry that we live in a culture where a scientist's findings on drug use are criticised because they don't fit in with current moral thinking. It really makes me think in some ways we've failed to progress from the Dark Ages.
