In terms of salary?

Do you earn more than you're worth, or are you feeling underpaid?

I've been to a few interview this week, and the salary subject hasn't come up yet, but I'm not sure, I need the job, and obviously times are tight, so should it be in my interests, when it comes to them asking my salary expectations, should I take a cut, mentally, and ask for less on the off chance that it will make me a more attractive person for the job.

Or, since I think the job is a slight step up from my last position, do I raise my expectations a bit and when the question comes, ask for more than I used be on?

I'm sure they'll have a figure, and it will be up to me whether to accept it or reject it. Quite the conundrum.
