Successful complaints

At my local train station, you can ring up and pay for parking over the phone. One morning I forgot for some reason, and returned to my car to find a ticket. It was the ONLY time I'd forgotten to do it, so I wrote a letter trying my luck, saying that if they checked their records, they'd see that I certainly did pay via my phone that morning

That took a couple of months to write back, and claimed that the system showed I hadn't paid. I forgot about it for ages, and then in December wrote to them again, again claiming that I had paid, and that this was getting beyond a joke etc etc

I had a phone call yesterday from a nice lady at NCP apologising for their 'mistake' and any distress caused, and that they were extremely appreciative of my understanding

Any recent successful complaints?
