i'm house/flat-hunting at the moment, and evry time i ask the answer is 'oh yeah, we smoke' and what's worse, they automatically assume that's the news i want to hear.
in the mass media, smoking seems to have become taboo, but in reality it seems to me people are as willing as ever to keep polluting their lungs...i mean we all know what a horrific disease cancer is and how widespread it is.
i know it's a simplistic analogy, but when people realised what a horrific disease AIDS was, they stopped indiscriminately sleeping around. smoking seems as popular as ever
