Has anyone done this? I've still got a year to go at uni but I'm starting to think about what to do after. Since I've absolutely no idea, and considering in a time of recession an English Literature degree is perhaps not the most useful, teaching English abroad seems like a safe bet, as well as good banter.

Do you need much experience? Is the TEFL qualification worth it? What was provided for you when you got to the country, etc?
