Doing presentations (panic-centric)

thephotobooth [Edit] [Delete] 18:05, 17 February '09

I had to do a presentation on a German film today, and ended up in the most irrational panic whilst doing it. The first thirty seconds were fine, but after that I started to blush (down my entire body...think it's the ginger genes in me), sweat a bit, and talk really fast and lose my train of thought... I knew what I had to talk about inside-out, which made the situation hugely frustrating.

SO, how do you cope with having to do presentations? How do you convince yourself that it doesn't matter what the half-asleep students sat in front of you think? Even when you feel fine, how do you order your body not to betray you and start blazing in every shade of red? And trying to think of them naked doesn't work... Any suggestions hugely appreciated...
