I Feel Really Guilty

orsonwellesrabbit [Edit] [Delete] 14:52, 23 February '09

I was in the paper shop about an hour ago perusing the chocolate bars, and upon selecting a Kit Kat chunky I glanced to the left and saw the front page of the Daily Mirror. It's Jade kissing Jack encircled by a love heart.

I laughed. It just popped out, with no forewarning whatsoever, and I think I'm probably going to hell. I couldn't help it, the image just seemed so pathetically tacky and tasteless, made worse by the fact that someone sent me a joke about Goody via text an hour and a half or so before. I feel terrible.

My point is, is this what we've come to? That even when people we don't like or respect or tolerate are to die of a horrible illness, it's become something of a joke? A source of amusement? Is this the 21st century? Good God.
