Advice

wrightylew [Edit] [Delete] 09:48, 26 February '09

I was out with my coursemates last night. Me and one lad were buying rounds for eachother.

Anyway we went to some naff club and the entry fee cleaned us out. He only had enough to actually get in, and I had just about enough to get us both an extortionate £3.30 bottle of Becks, each. So he said "Cheers, I'll go to the cash machine and get us both £10 out and you can pay me back tomorrow."

Ten minutes later I see him with 2 drinks on the dancefloor so I go over and he gives me my tenner. Then I reach for one of the drinks and he's like "That's mine mate". Which technically left me being owed a pretty expensive round.

When I see him today, do I:

a) Give him the tenner back.
b) Give him £7 back and face the possibility of being braded a Shylock, but end up a bit less worse off from last night's financial raping.

Pretty trivial, I know, but c'mon. You guys need to nurture me into a fine young man.
