LLB's RBS 6 Nations Review Thread - Week 3

LordLuciusBanter [Edit] [Delete] 12:48, 2 March '09

Well, Welsh hearts are broken in a tight and tense game. However, spells against Scotland apart, Wales have actually been very poor in the tournament. And my God, why didn't Henson offload?! Certain try, it was like he was English or something. Hardinordoquay continues as the stand out player of the tournament.

Scotland play some nice stuff beating Italy - the Evans brothers look tasty as, both in looks and their running angles. I love Sergio Parisse so much.

England and Ireland bore the fuck into each other for 80 minutes. Ireland squeak it but would've won by more if O'Gara hadn't have had the worst performance at 10 at international level since Henson at Landsdowne in 2006. O'Driscoll was heroic with a real captain's innings in spite of England's attempts to maim him, my favourite being Flutey's delightful headbutt. But I'll let Flutey off because 5 minutes later Heaslip and Ferris absolutely murdered him. Shame they didn't paralyse the mercenary parasite. England were pretty average aside from Tindall, who was their standout by a country mile. Stephen Ferris=Lions 6. Man of the macth = Danny Care
