Anyway. One of the plus points of being unemployed was that I was eligible for free dentistry because I was seeking JSA. I went for my first check up in... seven years?, and was told I need a filling. Not too shabby

So the filling appointment is next Friday morning, and I'll need to take the morning off to have it done. No problems there. But when you have a filling, do they pump you up with all manner of injections? I remember when I had teeth out prior to having my brace done, and I couldn't feel my face for the rest of the day. Forgive my ignorance, but I've never had a filling done before, and I don't fancy spending half the day in front of new colleagues dribbling on my keyboard
