Is it now public consensus that this would be the wrong thing to do?

Does anyone actually think it would be better if we just upped and left, or withdrew on a very sharp timetable.

What prompted me into thinking about this was the protesters on parliament square, who I walk past every morning and who seem to be increasingly detached from reality: pulling out now or very quickly would be emphatically the worst possible thing to do, right?
