I went to Tate Modern yesterday

there was a free guided tour just starting so I was all liek - 'fair play' and tagged along

The guide was a perfectly genial 50-something cockney lady...dead nice and very informative about all the works

but there was a woman

in the group

who

insisted

on...

every SINGLE time the guide made any kind of point / pointed out some gesture in a work or any kind of symbolism...

she had to fucking nod, this woman - she had to do a little nodding notion and make an affirmative 'mmm' noise as if 'I understand this'

a little fucking nod and little fucking 'mmm'

I was about to lash out - I literally had to position myself so she was out of my view every time we stopped.

It riled me so much.
