anyone read "how late it was, How late"? I started it yesterday and i'm not sure whether I'm appalled or delighted. It's the first time I've been able to read for pleasure in ages and I don't wanna waste time on it especially as it's a chunky thing. It should really appeal to me cos I like tom leonard and stuff but idk idk

sideline: gratuitous swearing and/or "gritty" stuff in books. Good/bad? Is what i'm reading just a glaswegian bukowski?
