I know there's a musicians board, but fuck that shit.

I’m dying to play music again and inevitably DiS is the best place to look.

I do the following: play piano/keyboard, sing a bit, and write songs. I’d really like to play/write with anyone who vaguely shares my influences, whatever instrument you play.

I’m not massively specific about the sort of thing I want to do at the moment, but I’m influenced quite a lot by American indie-rock, ‘proper’ emo and alt-country/alt-folk stuff. Ultimately I guess I value songwriting and intensity over anything else in a band.

I’m not very good at starting stuff like this, but... yeah. Anyone?
