Don't normally do blanket emails like this but as it's for a good cause i thought what the hell.
A friend of mine has arranged a benefit gig this Friday to raise money for marie curie cancer care. The gig will be at Northumbria University stage 2. His mother sadly died of cancer on new years day and as she was treated by marie curie wanted to pay tribute as well as making some money.
entry is £5 or £3 for advance tickets (pm if you want any). And kicks off at 7.30.
Bands playing are Dragnet - www.myspace.com/teamdragnet and the Dinosaurs (no myspace but fantastic live band playing classic rock from 60's 70's 80's and 90's) alongs with this there'll be fun and games, raffle etc...
Be great if your in the area and have no plans to give it a go or if you know anyone who may be interested give em the details.
