I've been out of work for about 3 months now, so theres a bit of a gap opening up on my CV. I've been thinking about working in the old intern game, working for free just to fill the gap on my CV, until I get a permanent position sorted. I'm just a bit unsure as to how it would come across if someone got my CV, I mean 27 year old Work XP, anything really to get me out of the house during the day.

Anyone ever done summat similar? What do the Job Centre say about such endeavours?
