There is nothing racist about acknowledging that the Eid celebrations on curry mile cause endless problems for the police, and anyone who lives there. The shopkeepers are sick of having their windows smashed and often just close up in protest now. The whole section of road becomes saturated with pissed up kids who aren't used to drinking, and are driving daddys BMW whilst hurling racist abuse at white, chinese or black pedestrians. Its widely known that the older people of faith distance themself from the area at this time as it ALLWAYS kicks off. I don't understand why the police are too afraid to take the action needed to sort out the trouble.
