When they ask why i want to work for them all that springs to mind is 'because your hiring!' What works better than that remembering i don't really want to work for them so anything will be total bullshit.

The other bit i'm having trouble with is any pastimes or interests that show important things about me. This again will probably have to be bullshit because i don't really do a great deal of note.
