season five wasn't so good though really, was it? the last episode was, but the rest of it, meh. i hate how they lost touch of all the realism.

and i know it's kind of the point that your heroes on the street die in such pointless and empty ways, but man, Omar really deserved better than to fall by that little shit. he probably would have been killed by that jump, but just suspending disbelief for a bit, if he survived, why didn't he disappear for a couple of months, get his leg better, then come back. that would've seemed wise, and they did keep making a point of saying how patient he was...

the final closing montage was amazing.

overall, i'd say 3 > 1 > 4 > 2 > 5

disappointed McNulty didn't end up in bracelets :(
