computer problem (firefox/browser centric)

TRSTN [Edit] [Delete] 01:21, 11 April '09

I was running firefox 3.0.7 but i started to experience a problem. After about 10 or 15 minutes of browsing firefox would stop recognising my connection/stop loading pages (even though other programs were fine). Then if i closed firefox the process would hang (would stay on the process list in task manager) and was impossible to kill. I started using IE but after a while i started suffering from the same problems with that. Downgraded to firefox 3.0.5 and it now takes longer before it breaks but its still there. So i have to restart every half hour to carry on browsing which is a complete pain in the arse.

anyone else had this? any way of fixing it?
thanks
