am going away over the summer - july and august and i need to rent out my room. i live with 3 other guys who are fine with this but the person needs to be super.

any tips of how to start doing this? I thought start with a facebook group inviting just friends and if I get desperate, advertise on gumtree and take the people out for a drink etc. to vet them.

also, should i continue paying the rent and just get them to pay me? seems the most simple way. would obviously need to make sure they didn't do a runner by getting lots of info / contract with them...
