This is actually a lot harder than I thought it was gonna be. At least some characters are complete and utter arseholes by the end of Series 5 (i.e. Lance Riddick) and so can be easily crossed off the list. I know McNulty's an arsehole but I still fucking love him. I also thought about putting Dukie and/or Michael in but (inevitably) they get sucked into the shit by the end too.
