Business-related email etiquette

How long are you prepared to wait for a work-related email to be answered before you get frustrated about not getting an answer?

Assume for the purpose of this discussion that it's not "urgent" per se but does cover reasonably important (in work terms) stuff that you feel the person you're sending it to should be as keen to get sorted out as you are?
