Right so I woke up with a sore swollen gland on the side of my neck, under my ear. I went on the good old internet to see what it could be caused by. The cervical lymph node (as I found out it was called thanks to a delightful little diagram) it proceeded to give me a list of possible causes. The list started with the most serious AIDS and Cancer. Not the best way to start a search and like with any car crash, you can't help but look on. Which I did. After about 30min of me thinking I am dying and calling my friend for moral support (and of course her berating me for thinking such stupid things) the swelling subsided.
