I'm planning on driving down to Cornwall and Devon for two weeks in late June. Mainly as I feel a bit stupid as I'm pretty well traveled round the world but never seeing anything in the UK. So its two weeks camping on my own, I like ruggedness, wilderness, scenic coastal walks, neolithic ruins/any kind of historical remains/castles, deserted beaches, and good cheap food. I know its going to be pretty busy then so I kind of want to stay away from those places. The Isles of Sicily have been looking tempting but the ferry tickets and car parking might be an issue, other than that I've never been further than the beach at butlins in Minehead. Any recommendations?
