When is it acceptable to steal someone else's joke? Obviously if you've stolen it from one source you can pass it off as your own to another source IMMEDIATELY, but what if you're just 'renewing' it? Because someone must have thought up 'What's brown and sticky? - a stick', but now it's joined the pantheon of Jokes and anyone can say it.
