obviouly this is going to be different for each festival but those of you with any experience of doing this could you kindly answer these questions for me, any other advice would also be more than welcome:

1) what do you get in return, like meals covered etc?

2) would you be ok going alone to a festival to do this or will it be shit if you don't go with someone that you already know?

3) would say it'd be stupid to spend money to go far away just to volunteer for a festival, rather than just buying a ticket?
