I am struggling to mdraw to mind a word or phrase that I wanted to use in an arguement. Th emoment is lost but its bugging me.
Whats it called when you draw comparisons between two things that are vaguely connected and then using that to make a conclusion that has no basis, i.e.

Coventry City beat Man U last year Manchester united beat Arsenal, ergo The mighty Sky Blues are better than Arsenal.

Please help
