slightly spurious, but with an element of seriousness to it.

I want to go there, but I don't want to go by myself, and for various reasons I A) Don't want to go with my friends and B) I don't want them to know i'm going.

I fully expect this thread to sink like a stone and/or someone to mock me for it, but I tried and that what counts in my mind.
